These kits are designed to fit flexibly into any space you have available in your vehicle, cabin, boat or home. All the kits are expandable
All kits use Fogstar Batteries a UK company who test and specify the battery packs to ensure safety and maximum longevity, they offer a class leading 6 year warranty. The batteries use the most modern Lithium Iron Phosphate (LiFePo4) prismatic cells designed for ultimate capacity and safety in the electric car market.
The kits use Victron components for battery safety, monitoring, solar charging and converting DC to 230v AC in normal household sockets. Victron are the industry leader in solar battery technology and all their products come with between 3-5 year warranties but are expected to last far longer with normal usage. Victron equipment is often used on essential power backup systems that cannot afford to be out of action.
Go for the Essential Power Kit (2.56 KWh): If you want enough power for a small fridge, LED lights, phones, laptops and tablets for an overnight or long weekend trip in the summer months in your campervan or small caravan. This system is also perfect for those looking to have a backup power supply in the event of a powercut to keep essential items charged and run a few small lights and the wifi. Add an Orion vehicle charger to ensure you top up the batteries when ever you are on the move.
Go for the Premium Off grid power Kit (5.12 KWh): This kit will allow you the flexibility to be off grid in Autumn, Summer and Spring for a long holiday without worrying about boiling the kettle, using the microwave and keeping your fridge cool using the 1600w Victron inverter. This comes with the Victron Cerbo S-GX module to allow wireless monitoring of your battery system when you're away from your system.
Go for the Ultimate Explorer Kit (14.33 KWh): If you want to stay off grid permanently in the Autumn, Summer and Spring with the ability to run for a week of light loads with no/low sun in the winter. You can run multiple items at the same time with the premium Victron 2400w inverter and can top up your batteries as you drive using the Orion vehicle to battery charger included in your kit. This Kit comes with all the bells and whistles so will include not only the larger battery packs, 4 solar panels allowing 1.74KW of generation per hour of sunlight with the 150/60 MPPT Smart solar from victron, but also the Cerbo-GX remote (WIFI and Bluetooth) monitoring and GX-Touch 50 screen to allow the whole system to be visualised from a location of your choosing within your home or vehicle.
The systems are all based around 24v (25.6v) architecture either with 25.6v batteries joined in parallel or by joining in series two 12.8v batteries in the smaller systems. 24v is the perfect middle ground between efficiency of equipment and safety for the consumer as 24v even at high current has a near zero propensity to pass through us and the lower amperage compared to 12v systems means less heat generated in the cables and connection points. This keeps you safe and your system efficient.
