Emergency Power Cut & Camping Kit, 250VA Victron Phoenix Inverter.

This simple emergency Battery Kit comes with 1.28 KWh of battery storage, 200w Victron pure sine wave inverter inverter to power all your personal devices and even a tv when there is a power cut, a smart charger to charge from a 230v mains socket before you leave for your trip or to keep charged up and under the stairs for when there is a power cut if you are in an area with regular disruption due to bad weather.

This Kit differs from the 1000w Backup power kit because it uses a more reliable but lower power inverter. This Victron inverter comes with a 5 year manufacturer warranty compared to the basic 30 day warranty with the PSI model. This has been done to keep costs equalised so customers get more choice in their products.

This would also act as a perfect power station for a camping trip, take the battery kit in the boot of your car and just unpack into your tent and connect the inverter to the battery and you are good to go for a week of charging your phones, tablets and laptops.

This 1.28KWh Battery combined with a Victron Phoenix 250VA pure sine wave inverter will power any device up to 200w for over 5 hours and 50w such as a notebook laptop for 20 hours non stop. With a peak power output of 500w for a few seconds to get something more power hungry started such as a drill or fridge, this kit will power items including, WIFI hub, Phone and laptop chargers and even an LED TV and a few lights in the event of a power cut.

This kit contains:

1x Fogstar Eco 12.8v 100Ah LFP battery providing 1.28Kwh of Storage. The battery has built in folding handles to make transporting it to where you need it easy.

1x VIctron 12/250VA 230v inverter with 3 pin socket for running AC power appliances to power 230v home appliances, lights and chargers.

1x Victron 300 Amp smart shunt for bluetooth monitoring your state of charge and to see the remaining time estimated at your current usage.

2x Victron Mega fuses with one holder to keep you and your system safe.

25mm2 red and black pure copper strand cable (1m red and 1m black cable).

1x 12v 20amp fast battery charger that will top the battery from 20-100% in 4 hours from the mains. 

Cable crimper and Lugs to allow you to build your kit at home and get to enjoy the process of providing your own emergency power, saving money and learning how these systems work so you can upgrade in the future.

For comparison a pre built power station with the same Battery capacity costs £800 and because this kit is modular, if anything does go wrong or you want to upgrade or expand, you can fix the individual component or add batteries or larger inverters rather than replace the entire system as would happen in a sealed pre made model.
